The Soundblaster Live, SBLive, is the latest series of soundcards from Creative. In short words, it's a PCI soundcard based around the powerful EMU 1K10 DSP. Since it is a Creative product, it comes with the usual marketing hype. Fortunately, many things said in the marketing are true, but some still are just wishful thinking and unusable features. The SPDIF ports represents the big bummer.

Anyways, being a Creative product, it's also very cheap, so one shouldn't really complain to much about those missing features. For a musician, the value can't really be beaten.

Since I'm a frequent user of this card, I decided to put a SBLive section onto my website and fill it with whatever I find interesting, together with Links to places of interest. I still wonder what happened to the rest of my website...
