- Install your soundcards into your computer.
- Make sure that no midi whatsoever is connected to any of the soundcards (to avoid installation troubles).
- Boot up your computer.
- Let windows find the cards and install the drivers it finds suitable.
- After the installation, open System Properties and change drivers on the SBLive marked as malfunctioning (there can only be one SBLive with SB drivers in a system) to the APS drivers of your choice.
- Check which card is which by playing a sound through the SB-card.
- Turn off your computer.
- Interconnect the two cards (APS drivers always on a VALUE):

- Turn on your computer.
- You can now hear your APS on either the SPDIF input or CD Digital input of your SBLive.
